Here at XPO Logistics, we are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to join our busy site in Enfield for our customer, Iceland. Our site is a multi-chamber, temperature controlled warehouse with a frozen, chill and ambient chamber. We’re looking for someone to champion and promote occupational health, safety and environmental awareness throughout site whilst always leading from the front.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Monitor health and safety at the site including carrying out risk assessments and training colleagues
Develop and lead the health and safety strategy at the site including making suggestions for improvements
Provide statistical analysis reporting of the site health and safety performance and present findings to the site management team and to the customer, Iceland
Ensure that the requirements for food safety are implemented and maintained, including the preparation and maintenance of HACCP plans
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Proven health and safety management experience within a warehousing/ transport operation
A NEBOSH General Certificate with experience in a HACCP environment
Exposure to accident investigations including full analysis and reporting
The ability to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety
