The Regional Supply Chain Leader will be responsible for the development and implementation of Supply Chain Strategy and Vision for GEOS Europe (Global Edible Oil Solutions). This position will oversee all supply chain activities across the region. These activities include: supply chain operations, process development, planning & execution, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems / data management & reporting, and people, talent & budget management.
This role is part of the GEOS Europe Leadership team and the GEOS Global Supply Chain Leadership Team.
30% Supply Chain Strategy and Process Development
Leads development and implementation of GEOS Europe supply chain long term vision and strategic direction in line with GEOS Business and BOSC functional Strategies;
Continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Planning aligned with Global Supply Chain Planning standard;
Develop and implement yearly plans, the related budgets as well as setting annual targets for KPIs regarding productivity, service, planning effectiveness, and inventory across the supply chain.
20% Supply Chain Operations
Oversees, provides extensive leadership and integration of multiple areas in the GEOS Europe supply chain such as customer service, supply chain planning, strategic sourcing/procurement, plant operations, and transportation & logistics (i.e. order, plan, source, make and deliver);
Directs and defines projects and process improvements in the GEOS Europe supply chain organization to drive continuous improvement to excellence standards;
Oversees execution of centrally owned operational business processes, such as IBP, budget cycles, KPI reporting (key performance indicators) and dashboard reporting;
Provides detailed leadership and oversight to the development of the delivery process to meet customer demand.
15% Customer & Client Interaction / Business Partnership
Contributes to cross-functional GEOS Europe Business teams and partners with other GEOS Supply Chain leadership teams;
Oversees the management of strategic contacts within the commercial team, operations, and Cargill Transportation & Logistics (CTL) to ensure team is managing stakeholders efficiently.
25% People & Talent Management
Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement directly and through subordinate managers and supervisors;
Manages and provides coaching and/or training to team, including coaching Cargill core values, personal safety, environmental stewardship and community involvement;
Provides oversight to subordinate managers and supervisors in the selection of staff and other employees; determines resource need, plans for future workforce needs, and approves selection decisions.
5% Systems/Data Management, Reporting & Analysis
Provides leadership to team on the management of supply chain systems and tools used within their area;
Analyzes and reviews score card and related KPIs within a large team. Ensures team is establishing and maintaining key supply chain metric.
University background (Master preferred)
10 years’ experience in Operations, Commercial or Supply Chain;
Strong leadership capabilities. Solid background in managing and developing people;
At least 5 years’ experience in agri/foods business to business environment;
Good understanding of tools & systems supporting Supply Chain processes;
Excellent communication skills. Ability to influence and interact with different levels of the organization;
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills;
Process & task oriented;
Ability to perform under time pressure;
Change and stakeholder management.
