Data. Without it our Supply Chain can’t function. You’ll pull data from a variety of sources and manipulate it, presenting it to a varied audience to help inform vital decisions. You’ll communicate regularly with the wider department, publish reports and spot and fix issues when they come up. You’ll self-manage your workload to deliver reports to an agreed schedule to a high level of accuracy.
YOUR SKILLS TOOLBOX
Previous experience in a supply chain role or data analysis role is highly desirable. However, as important as your proven skills in data analysis, you will also need to have the ability to take complicated data and communicate it in a commercial, yet easy-to-understand, way. As you’ll be working with people across the business, you’ll need to have great communication skills – verbal and written. You’ll also need to be highly organised, able to work on multiple tasks to deadlines, use your initiative and be proactive.
