Position Purpose & Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering financial analysis that provides insight and enhances decision making to Business Operations (Manufacturing) and Supply Chain: BOSC. He/she is the key partner to Operations and Supply Chain management teams understands drivers of costs, yields, levers to drive sustainable improvement. Develops and implement necessary KPIs and dashboard to measure progress against business objectives. Translate data into actionable operation business insight focusing on costs. Identification of business optimization opportunities (e.g. Fixed and Variable Costs, main cost drivers, Working capital etc) to then collaborate with Operation and FP&A to prioritize, build gap closing action plans. Key partner to the Operation management, FP&A teams and other functional teams to provide insightful analysis on actual vs planned business performance on costs. Ability to lead management reporting and annual planning lifecycle including budgeting, forecasting, analysis including smart commentary on cost evaluation and analysis.
This position will be expected to partner closely with the Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain, FP&A , Accounting and Reporting (A&R) and other Finance functions to achieve business and function objectives. Requires strong financial analysis, leadership, business acumen, influencing, communication and change management skills.
Principal accountabilities :
50% Management Reporting &Insight
Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting and analysis of BOSC performance (i.e. fixed costs, variable costs, energy, maintenance, yields, ROGI, etc.)
Collaborate and partner effectively with BOSC FP&A and site accounting teams for reporting and data needs, defining which performance indicators/ KPIs required to smartly explain/measure business performance driving decisions
Ensures the annual planning and forecasting process for the operations and supply chain aspects of the business, understands key cost drivers of results (e.g. energy, chemicals, mix/production swings)
Support and implement process simplification and enhancements to standardize and improve business information process (e.g. development of standardized and consistent dashboard reporting).
Provide input and identify opportunities to improve data integrity and usefulness for effective management reporting.
Improve reporting through leveraging the latest technology (i.e. Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
Understand legacy systems and develop a strong management information system/process.
Able to continuously improve the level of management reporting within the team.
Respond to ad hoc requests from FP&A and BOSC teams as per the business needs.
Respond to complex data requests and ad hoc requests with constructive and high quality solutions
40% Analysis and Business Partnering:
Demonstrate strong financial management skills to evaluate and analyze financial data translating data into business insight focusing on operational costs
Understand key cost drivers, internal/external performance factors driving the value and financial performance of the operations (BOSC)
Deliver analysis that provide insight to the Product Line management and FP&A teams to improve financial performance
Partner with the BOSC and FP&A teams to provide insightful analysis on actual vs planned business performance, focusing on key drivers
Communicate the monthly BOSC results to the business teams effectively ensuring figures are understood, deviations are explained clearly and opportunities/issues are highlighted.
Support the annual planning, corporate budgeting and forecasting including monitoring, including cost control .
Ensure the integrity of the business input and assumptions in forecasting process for BOSC financials
Operational Cost analysis: improving transparency, accuracy and visibility of the product costs by plant and production channel
10% Continuous Improvement:

Support the transition of the organization to the end state organization.
Collaborate closely with FP&A, Accounting and Reporting (A&R), BOSC Operation and other Finance functions to achieve finance objectives.
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business Administration. MBA is a strong asset
Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
