As a parental leave replacement for a period of approx. 18 months, you will take over a strategic position in our international purchasing department, focussing on negotiation, cost-saving initiatives and project management.
This will entail leading international source-to-contract negotiations, including preparation, execution and follow-up procedures, in which you take a TCO approach and apply optimum negotiating strategies for the respective product group.
You will make available your expertise relating to negotiating tools, analysis and methods to support and advise other colleagues within the purchasing department.
You are preparing and conducting workshops focusing on cost-saving potentials for various product groups, thereby driving and supporting the POOL organisation (Procurement Organization of Dr. Oetker Lead Buyers) in the launch and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the independent management and execution of international and interdepartmental projects and the resulting coordination with suppliers, affiliated companies, factories and other colleagues.
You have successfully completed degree studies in business administration, specialising in procurement – or in a comparable discipline – and have several years of experience in purchasing.
Excellent negotiating skills (knowledge and use of diverse negotiation strategies and techniques) and a capacity for analytical thought are among your strengths. These are paired with a readiness to travel frequently on business.
You have a very good command of written and spoken English and are characterised by your excellent communication skills, your flexibility and ability to work in a team as well as your assertiveness.
A thorough knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office are a matter of course.
