As a Senior Software Buyer you’ll work with business stakeholders and the Senior Category Manager to ensure that the sourcing activity within the Software category is delivered effectively and contracts are reviewed and negotiated.
Senior Software Buyer Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the contracts remain in force, and are effective and kept up to date with market trends, price, customer service competitiveness and regulatory change
Lead negotiations on a variety of mid/high value opportunities, as well as manage the running of RFx and e-Auctions
Utilise the Business Sourcing Process, whilst guaranteeing maximum value and innovation
A proven track record in the software procurement field with experience of dealing with large and small software suppliers and an understanding of licensing metrics
Demonstrable stakeholder management and relationship management skills with both internal and external parties
Strong commercial acumen as well as being a self-starter and able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously
Exposure to the Financial Services Insurance industry would be advantageous

Our client is flexible for this role to be based in any of their office locations or to be a full time home worker. There will be an element of travelling involved for supplier visits.
