The Consumer Products Division is home to world renowned brands Garnier, Maybelline & L’Oréal Paris and we are currently recruiting for a Senior Category Demand Planner.
As part of the Category Demand Planning team and reporting directly to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you will take full control of the Cosmetics demand planning process whilst having operational responsibility for 1 of our leading cosmetics brands. You will directly manage 1 Category Demand Planner.
•Optimise the demand forecast and ensure its quality for both CAS and Non CAS channels in FM.
•Challenge and consolidate the promotional and remerch sales forecasts projected by the Sales and Marketing teams.
•Ensure the global sales forecast consistency, through the building of a consensus between the commercial forecasts, the financial trend and the sales history.
•Communicate progress, results and challenges at all levels with a focus on forecast and performance clarity via the BPM.
•Lead the programme of Cosmetics planning excellence by becoming the leading Cosmetics process expert within the business.
•Animate and co-ordinate the remerch process across functions, in order to ensure optimal cross functional alignment for remerch activities
•Work alongside launch teams to ensure optimal execution of product launches, and work closely with supply planning to ensure optimal service levels
•Manage the tester forecasting process for Cosmetics
•Take overall responsibility for monitoring, animating and delivering forecast accuracy targets across the Cosmetics category
•Lead, coach and develop the Category Demand Planner.

Stakeholder Management Skills
•Ability to engage and positively influence internal & external stakeholders. Ability to manage upwards.
Demand Planning Experience
•2 years experience in demand planning is essential; with Cosmetics planning experience highly desirable
•Strong understanding of the building blocks and trends that influence the construction of a sales forecast
Excellent Communication Skills
•Be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and simplify complex messages.
•Excellent working knowledge of Excel and FuturMaster are an advantage
•Experience in demand or business planning systems an advantage
Strong Analytical Skills
•Ability to optimize the forecast through the analysis and management of a complex Cosmetics catalogue
