The successful candidate will act as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Performs responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one supplier management and procurement job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives. Activities include, but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation and execution of multidisciplinary business processes. Works cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers and all employee levels to carry out responsibilities.
Knowledge of policies and procedures that typically affect organizational units and/or Company. Establishes policies and procedures. Interprets company-wide policies and procedures. Knowledge of skills and abilities required by managers to accomplish organizational unit and/or company responsibilities.
Decisions would have significant impact to the financial, the employee, or public relations posture of the Company. Typically accountable for budget and policy recommendations. Directs long term operations of an organizational unit or the Company.
Represents the organizational unit as prime internal and external contact on contracts or operations. Interacts with senior leaders or executives concerning matters of significance to the Company.
Ability to accomplish results through direct managers. Ability to modify the organization structure for their scope of responsibility. Often heads up one or more divisions. Ability to influence decision-making by senior leaders or executives concerning matters of significance of the Company.
High impact on the business, risk may include full value stream assessments. Skilled in the operation of activities of major significance to the organization. Directly participates in establishing and administering multiple projects. Ensures that overall budgets, schedules and performance standards are realistically set and attained. Provides leadership to managers and/or professional staff.
