Joining the organisation as Senior Manager, Global Sourcing – Pricing and Analytics, your primary responsibility will be within the Medical and Surgical consumables category, researching and creating cost models and "what if" models to then pass on to the in-country sourcing teams. You will subsequently join and lead the negotiations with suppliers and manage the on-going performance and relationships with these suppliers.
As a centralised, global position based in London, as the Senior Manager, Global Sourcing – Pricing and Analytics, you will report in to Vice President, Medical Global Sourcing base in the US and manage a small, remote team.
This position directs, manages and provides leadership and strategic direction to the Global Sourcing functions of Medical/Surgical’s business. This role will be responsible for the development and management of all cost models, business intelligence reporting and on-going business support to local offices in Asia, Europe and US for all manufacturers supported Medical/Surgical’s business.
Key responsibilities of this role will include leading supplier-facing activities such as contract negotiations, pricing decisions and volume allocations. In addition, you will regularly participate in global group meetings and also be responsible for providing and communicating material at the quarterly PSS Global Sourcing board meetings.
Business Experience Required:-
Significant experience in a multi-national organization
Significant sourcing/negotiating/cost modeling experience
Relevant sourcing experience across Medical & Surgical consumables
