Exciting Senior Supply Chain Manager opportunity within a newly created group. Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is a must.
Following the merger of 2 major organisations within their field, our client is the largest of its kind within Europe, and a leading manufacturer of energy efficient products.
They are now looking for a Global Supply Planning Manager to help them move the business forward and create a “best in class”, consistent Supply Chain function.
You will need to have proven experience in a Senior Supply Planning role with a Global Manufacturing organisation, and be comfortable working in a fluid, changing environment.
Managing change and implementing processes will be a key part of this role, and something you will have demonstrable experience of doing successfully.
You will also need to have excellent influencing skills to enable you to gather information and get under the skin of the business. You will be comfortable working with senior colleagues from different cultures, enabling you to drive a consistent approach across different regions.
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is an absolute must.
Supply Chain Manager Key duties and responsibilities include:
Gain detailed knowledge of the organisations current planning processes, issues and opportunities
Lead the development and implementation of consistent processes in all areas of supply chain planning, including demand planning, production planning, distribution planning, inventory planning and S&OP
Develop leading and lagging KPIs for the supply chain planning processes to track performance and to identify and implement improvements
Partner with regional and country teams to identify gaps in supply chain planning and drive the adoption of best in class planning processes
Engage key cross functional groups to drive an integrated planning approach and ensure key processes and systems are utilized
Bring planning expertise to the organisations new ERP and future supply chain systems and BI tools
Collaborate with supply chain and functional teams to quantify and implement improvement opportunities related to supply chain planning
Supply Chain Manager Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Engineering preferred
