A fantastic opportunity is available for a Site Services Technician to join our team in Hull.
The Site Services Technician will ensure that all items of plant and equipment, within their area of responsibility, are maintained to the appropriate standard to ensure that their performance is safe, reliable and in accordance with the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) whilst at the same time continually improving performance, plant and systems to support the development of the Site Services and contributing to the Supply function meeting its customer service, quality and cost targets.

Decide how and when to make adjustments to plant and equipment.
Recommend and implement changes to machine operation and maintenance procedures
Recommend and deliver improvements to machine design
Develop constructive but challenging relationships with the team
Manage multiple concurrent priorities and issues
Ensure a balance of time is spent on improvement as well as firefighting or day to day tasks
Ensure maintenance work planned to minimise the impact on production operations and have no impact on customer services
Maintain effective communication to all parties.
Ensure always up to date with new technologies and their potential application

Is this You?
Apprentice trained in an engineering discipline, through a recognised accredited body
HNC or BTECH 3/5 in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems.
Must have experience in dealing with staff at all levels of expertise, with the ability to communicate skilfully with people at their level of understanding.
Preferably should have practical experience in operation and maintenance of large multi-purpose facilities.
Knowledge and application of UK regulatory standards.
Knowledge and understanding of effective operation and maintenance of Site Services plant, equipment and systems, including HVAC , water systems, compressed air, boiler plant , utilities supply ,CMMS etc
