The role is a Sourcing Analyst / Manager position, based in central London and focussing predominantly on the US market. Therefore, you will need to have flexibility to manage relationships and have virtual meetings with US stakeholders (taking into account the different time zones).
Essentially, this is a brand new permanent role in a greenfield environment following the agreement of this joint venture. Your main responsibilities include the data mining, analysis and reporting of large volumes of data using Excel and Tableau. There will be a lot of internal engagement with stakeholders so strong communication skills are also essential. This is a fairly tactical role, within a joint venture offering plenty of career progression.
The Sourcing Analyst / Manager will be responsible for customer engagement and stakeholder management. This includes supporting the sourcing and management of the generics category of products. You will also execute required analysis related to customer sourcing needs and work cross functionally to identify sourcing opportunities and resolve open issues.
This position gathers, analyses, and summarises recommendations/ solutions for sourcing customers/ stakeholders and will interact with product suppliers as needed.
Specialised Knowledge/ Skills Required:
Knowledge of purchasing, sourcing and/ or product management of products distributed within a multiple warehouse environment
Knowledge of downstream impact (pharmacy/ business level) of sourcing decisions/ changes
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (and Tableau ideally) with a solid background in developing queries, macros and other data extraction techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and able to work with all levels of management and internal/ external customers to get results quickly – able to communicate complex data to stakeholders in a simplified and action-oriented manner
