Our Supply Chain department are looking for a confident and motivated Administrator to join the busy and fast-paced Logistics Administration Team within the Supply Chain Department. This role offers a high level of responsibility and the opportunity to be involved in, and influence, the coordination of the logistics process. The successful candidate will liaise with Lidl International, various Head Office Departments and well as contacts in Regional Supply Chain. This is an exciting opportunity to join an area paramount to ensuring the successful delivery of stock to our RDCs and lastly to our stores.
What will you do?
Preparing, consolidating and checking national orders prior to sending them to International
Troubleshooting and resolving logistics issues
First point of contact between UK & Germany for international logistic related questions (ad-hoc requests)
Liaising with internal HO and international logistics departments and RDCs
Updating and maintaining reports and spreadsheets
Resolving invoice enquiries
What will you need?
Fluent in English and German
Intermediate to advanced level of MS Excel
Highly focused with an eye for detail
An excellent communicator with the confidence to deal with the entrusted tasks and the direct exposure to senior contacts internally and in the UK
Pro-active with a confident, ‘can do’ attitude
Used to working to schedules and deadlines with the ability to accommodate last minute requests with ease and efficiency
A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
Experience in a logistics or stock controlling related role is desirable

A salary of £20,300 - £24,360 per annum (subject to experience)
