We are currently recruiting for a Regional Supply Chain Analyst based at our client’s Operations Centre of Excellence in Luxembourg, following the merger of 2 major organisations within their field. Our client is the largest of its kind within EMEA, and a leading manufacturer of industrial and energy efficient products. This role as a Regional Supply Chain Analyst is for the biggest region within Europe to help them move the business forward and create a “best in class”, consistent Supply Chain function.
Our client requires an analytical, influencing, commercial Supply Chain Analyst professional but more importantly someone who actually builds insights and has the ability to drive and implement ideas from this information. You must show an ability and desire to get more involved and be enthused by making such ideas, the daily takes will be varied across planning, transport and warehousing analysis. You will be expected to travel in this role, especially to manufacturing / production, warehousing facilities to better understand your role and influence your creative thinking as well as visit the Regional HQ in Paris, the requirement for French speaking is essential.
Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:
Gain extensive knowledge of business processes, issues and data challenges across the region and individual manufacturing plants
Partner with local supply chain teams to manage the ongoing performance of metrics and KPIs, standardising across the Region and European network
Identify, validate and consolidate SC data across multiple source systems and reporting platforms
Support the local country teams in reporting on key areas of the business to highlight trends and provide visibility to challenges and opportunities across the network
Partner with the local team on process improvement initiatives across all areas of the SC, including demand planning, production planning, transportation and warehousing.
Support the implementation of the new ERP, replenishment and forecasting systems, evaluate the potential and determine the best solution to the integration of the 2 legacy businesses. Support implementation or expansion of TMS and WMS applications
Collaborate with regional and group counterparts to align regional reporting and system activities with the overall approach and strategy
Knowledge & Experience:
A self-motivated, action-oriented team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in high volume manufacturing, distribution, production planning, logistics and/or transportation environment
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced proficiency in use of business intelligence software (i.e. Qlikview)
Proficiency in use Microsoft Access or SQL server preferred
