Our brands, boohoo, boohooMAN, PrettyLittleThing, Nasty Gal, MissPap, Karen Millen and Coast design, source, market and sell clothing, shoes, accessories and beauty products targeted at 16-40 year old consumers. Products are designed and sourced largely in the UK and distributed globally from a central UK warehouse. We are currently looking for an experienced Supply Chain Development Manager to join our team. The role will be based between our distribution centres in Burnley and Sheffield, however we would be open to discuss that further during the process. It is a brand new role with some ambitious projects in the pipeline that will keep us busy for the foreseeable future.
You will be responsible for delivering strategic projects and developing the supply chain infrastructure to support business growth. Reporting into the Head of Development you will be part of a team that has a significant capital budget with a variety of projects including fulfilment centre automation, operations development and international expansion.
Some of the things that you will do:
Support the definition and implementation of the supply chain strategy
Identify opportunities to enhance capacity, efficiency and service to support business growth
Develop business cases and work with key stakeholders to enable business/commercial sign off
Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and with a seamless rollout to deliver the operational benefit
Build a strong network with internal teams including ops, tech, procurement, finance and trading as well as a wide network of external suppliers
What we are looking from you:
Proven track record of delivering significant capital or change projects through to benefits realisation (desirable that this is within a retail environment)
Sound understanding of the end to end supply chain preferably in ecommerce / fashion
Delivery of operations / automation projects with multiple stakeholders
Commercial understanding to develop business cases including ROI calculations and budget management
Skills we are looking for:
Service related focus with the ability to place yourself in the position of the customer to understand their concerns and issues
Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas, information and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrable leadership skills, delivery focus and gravitas to project positive attitude and resolve disputes and challenges
Commercial / financial acumen and attention to detail
The ability to use the Microsoft office suite of products to create and edit documents, emails, project plans, presentations and spreadsheets
