With Clarks shoes now sold all over the world, our supply chain is complex and always evolving. It’s a great place to be, from a financial perspective. Especially as there are big plans in store for the way we move products. As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you’ll work at the heart of this fast-moving area, helping make sense of critical figures.
Day-to-day, you’ll help to produce all kinds of information for the rest of the business: financial reporting for European distribution centres, Supply Chain and Inventory analysis and vital budget and quarterly forecasts. You’ll also monitor performance, analyse overheads and spot any gaps in financial data. The information you provide will have a big role to play: helping various teams make crucial business decisions. You’ll therefore be making an important impact – all while learning, progressing and building your knowledge.
A bit about you
Organised, driven and commercially sharp, you’ll bring a background in Finance and a good eye for detail. Your accounting knowledge is basic but sound – in fact, you may be studying for an Accounting qualification. You’ll certainly know your way around Supply Chain and Logistics, as well as key systems: SAP, BW and databases. Strong analytical skills mean you can interpret data and make the most of complex spreadsheet models. This technical expertise is an excellent start. But the key to success lies in a team-focused approach. You’ve got to be comfortable dealing with people and explaining information to non-financial managers.
If you’re friendly, confident and keen to learn, our team will help you come on in leaps and bounds.
Life with us
Every 60 seconds, 105 pairs of Clarks shoes are sold globally. That makes us a £1.6 billion business and a truly worldwide brand. We now have some 15,000 employees across 75 different countries – everywhere from Europe to the Americas. Despite being the world’s biggest everyday footwear brand (by sale volume), we’re still owned by the Clarks family and based in Street, Somerset – where the Clarks business began. Street is the nerve centre of our business, driving growth and the whole Clarks success story. And right now, we’re busy writing the next chapter. With a constant search for new and better ways to work, innovation’s set to play a big part in our future.
As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a variety of benefits. These range from 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) to discounted healthcare. And, as everyone loves new shoes, you’ll also get a very healthy discount on our products.
We love hearing from great people
