Supply Chain Integrator
An excellent opportunity exists to join our talented Procurement team based in Rochester in the role of Supply Chain Integrator.
As a Supply Chain Integrator you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance and on-going management of all Kanban activities.
You will maintain strong relationships with internal project teams and functions to ensure that the requirements of the business are satisfied and that the processes are understood and managed effectively
You role duties will include but not be limited to;
Designing, setting up and maintaining Point of Use processes across the business, including creating and maintaining relevant procedures and how to guides
Ensuring all participants of the Point of Use process are trained and that training is regularly updated and maintained
Designing, setting up and maintaining Pull processes across the business, including creating and maintaining relevant procedures and how to guides.
Maintaining strong, effective relationships with internal customers that are capable of withstanding set-backs, and be able to resolve relationship, process and performance issues
Understanding the budget requirements for implementations and to support achievement of these requirements, as well as identify opportunities for cost reduction/avoidance
Training/coaching and developing members of staff on Kanban processes and procedures and support audits of these
Being a change agent, capable of influencing at all levels of the business and to ensure improvement projects are implemented and embedded within the business
Maintain up to date awareness of industry best practice for Kanban processes and develop and deliver proposals for improvement
Your skills and qualifications:
Knowledge of Principles of Lean
Understanding of global and competitive influences on the industry
Very good understanding of industry best practice
Experience / understanding of how a full pull process runs and the issues that can arise
