Reporting directly to the Site Director, the Supply Chain Manager will provide leadership for all purchasing, warehouse, logistics, waste management, and shipping activities with an effort to control costs while also improving efficiency and accuracy in the management of inventory. Acting as a coordinator responsible for the proper performance of the production programs, optimization of inventory of finished goods and raw materials as well as best practices in procurement and supply of plant material. Together with operational and customer needs to maintain service excellence.
Founded in 1972, is a highly automated site, Scoppito is defined as Fully Integrated Factory, with management systems and processes integrated at the operational level.
The Scoppito plant is one of the Sanofi Group's strategic sites for the production and packaging of solid oral products. The growth of the Scoppito plant, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012, goes through investments: 26 million are planned for the four-year period 2012-2015, with the aim of improving the technological equipment already at the forefront of the site and to start production of the Maalox® antacid chewable tablets previously made at the Sanofi plant in Origgio (VA).
