To supervise daily activity,
To ensure proper documentation of shipments,
To ensure that all rigging used in daily operations is in good condition with up to date certification,
To prepare equipment and supplies for shipments to vessels,
To instruct Yard personnel to execute work as required,
To maintain inventory lists of materials and equipment on Yard,
To supervise and/or control loading- off loading vessels, barges and road transports and maintaining proper storage facilities
To follow up the AWB and BL for the incoming and out coming goods
To liaise with the Transit department to follow up with customs clearances and goods availability and avoid any delay
To liaise with HSE advisor to get the PTW (Permit To Work) prior any yard work (rigging, heavy-lift, hot work)
Head of Administration for Transit
Monitoring and obtaining customs exemptions and schemes
Checking of invoices received for freight
Email Reporting to customers and the Management on the status of the various applications.
Actively participates in ensuring a healthy and safe workplace for all and no harm is caused to the environment.
Responsible for complying with all company management system guideline and policies
Preferably a degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
English a must.
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and/or supply chain preferably in the oil/shipping industry
Problem solving and Decision-making skills
Good relationship skills
Good communication and team working skills
