The purpose of this role is to plan the supply from resource, or group of external resources in the most efficient way to ensure desired service levels. You will perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning, maintain accurate planning parameters in the system and create an optimal, achievable supply plan for execution. You will focus on the External Supply network, managing planning for several CMO partners. This is a global role, and will require interaction with networks in Europe, Asia, the US and more, dependent on capacity and requirements of the business.
This opportunity will give the successful candidate the opportunity to partake in full, end to end supply chain processes within a large, global organisation. You will be a key player in delivering top, international brands, working internationally to support both internal and external customers worldwide. This will include management of a whole range of stakeholders, offering exposure to colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

You will need excellent communication skills, working well across multicultural, cross functional and international teams. You will deftly manage stakeholders, influencing partners at Third Party Organisation, as well as GSK colleagues, at all levels, setting and managing expectations as appropriate. Working with the External Supply Network will require an assertive approach, as you will be required to drive GSK priorities and processes in the behaviours of CMO’s and other suppliers. This will require a strong hand and confidence, coupled with the ability to build genuine relationships which allow for clear and open communication. You will need to be very proactive, making key decisions independently but also recognising when it is appropriate to escalate and seek support. You will be a multi-tasker, able to confidently identify, anticipate and respond to a variety of daily tasks to deliver successful resolutions.
