Accountable for delivering results regarding end-to-end supply chain projects to maximize the overall financial outcome of the Asset Network of Starch & Sweeteners Europe (SSE). Works with the E2E Team to define and deploy fundamental supply chain practices across Starches and Sweeteners locations and strengthen supply chain architecture. Acts as a Change Agent and leads autonomously important cross functional projects with multiple plays across the business. Interacts with Business functions and the staff of the locations in order to re-design, implement and sustain central and local state-of-the-art processes, identifying also needs in terms of capabilities and tools.
Supply Chain Transformation
Contributes to the identification, development and implementation of Supply Chain processes from raw material to Customer
Interacts with all Business Functions and team of the locations to identify significant improvement opportunities for the Business
Analyses knowledge and data available within the Business to identify opportunities and build compelling business cases in line with the SSE strategy
Uses benchmarking and brings methodological expertise to identify Best and Emerging Practices to implement in the Business.
Leads business level transformations
Provides mentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads
Identifies evaluates, and manages risks to the business relating to change
Participates in the evaluation of emerging training issues and makes recommendations to enhance or create new training programs
Provides support in development of training recommendations to address specific business initiatives
Leads periodic project reviews utilizing a thorough knowledge of the project delivery process
Involves and guides project team to achieve target in terms of performance, time and costs
Identifies, recommends and implements project management best practices
Defines project objectives and scope
Develops the Integrated Project Plan for projects with high cost and risk
Acts as partner for managers to coach underwriters and other staff as necessary in order to bridge specific knowledge or skills gaps through individual development plans
Regularly measures and monitors program & project progress
Analyses business cases of new supply chain scenarios and supports implementation of new parameters and processes
Supports the Programme Manager to provide the stakeholders with a status of the project and reporting issues and threats
Identifies areas of risks of the projects and triggers mitigation plans
Develops efficient collaboration with business to ensure projects are successfully implemented
Ensures successful completion of assigned project phases and closure of all aspects of the project
Responsible with the E2E team for achievement of the E2E KPIs target.
APICS certification an Lean or Six Sigma preferred
10 to 15 years in Supply Chain and Operations area
Good understanding of the Starches & Sweeteners industry
Project Management (Management of cross functional and complex SC projects preferred)
Supply Chain and Operations knowledge
Basic knowledge of different accounting methods like industrial accounting, direct costing and activity based costing is welcome
Good understanding on tools & systems supporting processes (e.g. JDE One World) preferred
Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of any other European language is welcome
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
