Airbus is focused in ensuring his customers satisfaction. In that perspective, Procurement Operations department is looking for experienced profiles to reinforce Supply Chain and Quality management from supplier selection, through design, development and industrialization, up to in-service.
Opportunities are open on several commodities: Equipment & Systems, Materials & Parts, Aerostructures products and Propulsion System.
Two vacancies for a Supply Chain Quality Specialist have arisen within Airbus in Filton, Bristol.
As an Expert, you will manage complex quality activities in order to protect Airbus production units in a sustainable way. You are a key actor in the prevention of supplier issues (incl. in-service issues) able to identify relevant ways and contributors to be involved in each topic and drumbeat actions/projects until their effectiveness is demonstrated.
You will be a key contributor to Airbus quality preventive culture.
As Supply Chain Quality Specialist your main accountabilities are:
The role will also involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
In the frame of development and serial production phases, your main tasks and responsibilities as a quality expert will include:
The previous activities are done by using the appropriate means such as APQP**, quality standards, missions, deliverables, inspections etc.
Manage Product Non Conformities from Airbus plants and In-service issues to eradicate non quality in a sustainable way.
Audits and assessments
In addition, you have to update the corresponding tools for each activity and you have to support internal and external audits and EASA activities.
* Supply Chain and Quality Manager is the privileged interface to supplier End-to-end and is accountable that supplier delivers products on time and on quality.
