In that perspective, Procurement Operations department is looking for experienced profiles to reinforce Supply Chain and Quality management from supplier selection, through design, development and industrialization, up to in-service.
A vacancy for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (Cabin) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.
You will be the privileged interface to supplier End-to-end and responsible to deploy relevant methods to ensure sustainable prevention of quality issues.
As Supply Chain and Quality Manager your main accountabilities are:
¤ Supply Chain and Quality contribution to the procurement strategy
¤ Defining and implementing suppliers/products surveillance plan
¤ Ensuring compliance of suppliers and products to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors
¤ Ensuring On Time and on Quality deliveries
The role will also involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
¤ Contribute and Support MFT (Multi-Functional Team) and deployed related strategy
¤ Contribute to supplier selection and contract setup
¤ Contribute to Change management evaluation
¤ Contribute to deployment of supply chain and quality standards, methods & tools such as APQP*
¤ Contribute to supplier contract/claims management
¤ Verify supplier compliance with Airbus and appropriate Aviation Authorities requirements
¤ Establish the industrial risk analysis and corresponding surveillance plan which will be monitored and adjusted constantly
¤ Report and escalate issues
¤ Identify supplier recovery, improvement and development needs
¤ Secure convergence to industrial Maturity target: supplier capability & capacity
¤ Monitor the supplier on Time, on Quality performance and launch relevant actions
The previous activities are done by using the appropriate means such as APQP*, quality standards, missions, deliverables, inspections etc.
Manage Product Non Conformities from Airbus plants and In-service issues to eradicate non quality in a sustainable way.
In addition, you have to update the corresponding tools for each activity and Support internal and external audits and EASA

¤ Knowledge of standard problem solving methods and process improvement skills (Statistical Process Control - SPC), Measurement System Analysis - MSA -, …)
¤ Knowledge of quality standards and regulations (Quality Management System, Nadcap, Environment Management System…) is an asset
