About the Role:
As the Supply Chain Planning Manager you ensure the UK & Ireland market demand is met, at the best freshness possible. Covering a planning horizon of 24 months out you will engage with all internal and external supply partners to ensure an alignment of capacity and capability to satisfy UK & Ireland market demand – on time in full whilst ensuring the appropriate balance of cost and quality.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced FMCG supply chain professional to develop their career within a global organisation with iconic brands.
You’ll assume overall responsibility for planned finished goods inventory levels and replenishment demands covering all brands / channels, working cross functionally to achieve this. Using your knowledge and experience you will understand key constraints across the end to end supply chain in order to inform where the business needs to manage demand inside limits as necessary via the S&OP and weekly execution process.
Managing a portfolio of circa 1500 total product items covering multiple brands / factories and warehouses the Supply Chain Planning Manager will also be responsible for reporting on overall supply performance owing the complete continuous improvement action plan in order to drive results.
Who we are looking for:
You will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a supply chain management role with experience of developing multi-tier supply chain planning systems within a FMCG and retail / B2C environment. You’ll possess a broad understanding of end to end supply chain with a proven ability to manage trade off’s between cost, service and quality.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills will be crucial to your success, as will your ability to turn complex data into valuable, concise and action orientated management information.
