The Technical Administrator role combines Supply Chain and Sustainability compliance Functions. As the Technical Administrator Biodiesel you develop good working relationships with suppliers and customers. You are responsible for the collection and management of information from external suppliers and you coordinate with colleagues in the Ghent Supply Chain and remote specialist Sustainability Team. You understand what the sustainability contract clauses are asking for and ensure the documents supplied to or by Cargill meet these requirements. With training and support you will soon become the ‘go-to’ person for biofuels documentation. This role is an opportunity to specialise in the administration of European biofuels working with colleagues, customers and suppliers in multiple locations.
You develop a full understanding of what is needed to fulfil contractual sustainability clauses
You develop working knowledge of biofuel certification schemes under which the business operate.
You prepare a range of different documents depending on the customer and end market destination
You develop good relationships with Suppliers and Customers for sustainability related matters and other biofuels data enquiries as appropriate
You oversee the quality of data input into ERP systems (One World Aforce, Biofuels Tool & SAP - which is new to the business)
You enter and verify data in database systems of Cargill systems and national authorities
You understand supplier contract requirements and assess when they are met, and if not what is needed
You check supplier documents received against contract requirements, spot any gaps and request completion of the of data directly with supplier.
You support the Supply Chain team in verifying contract input on sustainability/national compliance including accurate and complete contract confirmations.
Secondary education and 5 years relevant experience
Diligent with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise work and take on accountability and responsibility
Proactive and work well under pressure
Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of computer programs such as Excel
Ability to learn and understand changing regulatory, business and customer requirements
Proven numerical skills and attention to detail
Work extra hours when needed
Fluency in written and spoken English
