Ensures the planning process delivers optimum performance to deliver schedule adherence service levels and targets.
Utilises knowledge of transport legislation and drivers terms and conditions as a planning and cost control tool.
Completes a plan and review process using a variety of systems on a daily basis. Ensures these learnings are fed into future plans created to ensure they are constantly improving.
Liaises with, and provides focus on new build and refit stores to ensure 100% delivery performance during start up.
Plans and matches driver resource to optimise driver productivity
Communicates well with the warehouse, transport function and agencies to ensure full engagement and commitment to the plan.
Role models JS values to drive engagement within the transport department.
Supports site specific projects or a lead focus area, as directed by the Site Planning Manager
