Established since 1975, Carrefour Brazil is the largest food retailer in this country with more than 498 stores in 27 states and 72 thousand employees.
Our network stores are spread all over the country in different formats; Carrefour Hypermarket, Carrefour Neighborhood, Carrefour Express, Carrefour Drogaria, Carrefour Posto, Atacadão and Supeco.
Private Label Department:
We are in growth period and we will develop new items under category market studies and with the merchandising area agreement.
We will be a development area, which will search for suitable products to our brands, and we will also enhance the formulas of the actual products, playing an important hole at the transformation plan for the group.
This VIE will work under the Private Label (PL) work stream and need to have all the ethical standards that a merchant needs, understanding the great responsibility involved over a product development.
The VIE will be responsible for understanding and mapping opportunities of exploring PL Suppliers for new items, and also for the sales and profitability of current PL suppliers.
-Identify new products to launch based on margin analysis, benchmarking, trends
-Sourcing new and pertinent suppliers
-Follow up the new products to analyze the sales volume.
-work with many departments to launch the new products (marketing, sales, logistics, stores, etc.)
Nutritional and/or Food Engineering Degree
Merchandising background is appreciated.
Marketing and Brand experience is preferable.
Negotiation Skills and Commercial Profile is preferable.
