Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.
This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.
This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week. Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.
As working student within Procurement, you support the Office of the Head of Procurement in all tasks regarding content-related, administrative and junior project management functions.
Procurement supports the division’ entire range of value-adding functions:
- Customer Campaigns (Sell) - Procuring goods and services (Source) - Supporting manufacturing (Make) - Delivering to the end-customer - After-Market & Customer Services

Tasks & accountabilities
Your role will involve the following exciting tasks:
- Coordinate and communicate with our Procurement team, which encompasses more than 20 sites with a strong focus on Spain, France, UK, Germany. - Planning and preparation of workshops, conferences and meetings across all management levels. - Research and creation of documents such as briefings and templates for advisory use for our top management (e.g. financial analysis, strategic presentations, decision analysis) - Implementing new communication routines, platforms, databases and information processes via established IT systems - Drafting and completing the monthly reports as applicable for presentation - Drafting and completing top management decision papers - Supporting the team members within the scope of their activities: - Digitalization projects - Office tasks

- Enrolled Student within economics, General Business Administration, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Social Sciences, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering - Competency with MS-Office applications, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Knowledge of MS Sharepoint is a plus, but not required. - Dynamic, engaging, and able to operate independently - Experience in an international and multicultural environment - Healthy skepticism for process and bureaucracy is appreciated - English and German: fluent
